Since Korea has been in the news as of late, I decided that the Girl Friday post should take the opportunity to reflect current affairs. At least that's the excuse that I'm using for the sudden turn from beauties of the past to a more contemporary treasure... this time, from the exotic land of Korea.
This Week's Girl Friday is Im Ji Hye:
Im Ji Hye first captured the attention of photographers at a Motor Show in Seoul, Korea in 2007. There's an odd phenomenon in Asian countries - and to some extent Western countries - where cult followings will develop around auto show models.
You know,... the girls that stand by the cars at the auto show and basically look pretty?
For a few years, individual girls will gain huge followings of fans who buy magazines featuring their photos.
It's very rare for the images to feature full nudity, and even rarer for the girl to branch off into porn. It's virtually unheard of, which I think is pretty interesting. And refreshing.
At any rate, they are an appealing group of gals - and Im Ji Hye is certainly no exception.
If for no other reason than what you've seen here today - we have to stand firm against the tyranny of Kim Jong Il.

What's nice is that she isn't just a sack of bones - she actually looks healthy, especially for a model.

Mike - Yeah.. many of the Auto Show girls lean more toward the curvy rather than gaunt end of the spectrum. It's hard to find someone attractive, if all you can think about is buying them a bowl of soup.
