Frank Frazetta passed away today, at the age of 82. If you're not familiar with his art, you really should check out his stuff.
That's my all time favorite Frazetta piece. It's titled "Death Dealer". You might recognize this, and other examples of Frazetta's work, from the Album covers of the Southern Rock group Molly Hatchet. His art also came to symbolize the books of Tarzan and Conan the Barbarian. It was Frazetta's images of Conan that inspired the "look" of the Arnold S. movies.
