Ready for Santa
As usual, the day after Thanksgiving is Christmas Decorating day here at Castle Paladin. What wasn't "usual", was the fact that it was a beautiful, sunny day. Normally its windy, cold, and drizzling rain/sleet when I'm trying to put the lights up.
The Christmas Cuss Count was remarkably low this year :)
The big tree in the front yard is a Red Oak Tree. I planted it there around Christmas time the first year we moved into our house.
We've been here a long time :)

it's pretty wild to see x-mas lights and no snow. Must be really nice... lol..
Our neighbors are always so good and get their lights up early before it gets too cold, but me, I guess I like setting up lights in the cold and wind and snow also. It's sunny today, maybe I'll beat the super cold and go put them up before the wind kicks in this afternoon . . . :)
