Alina has been rumored to be a romantic interest for Vladimir Putin, though both have denied the reports as ridiculous. One interesting thing that is true about Alina, however, is that she has served in the Russian Parliment since 2007.

Well it's understandable about Vlad. He's only human, after all. (And fortunate enough to be the most powerful man in Russia, which gives him a shot with her).
