New Diversion

A while back, my local Public Radio Station began running an hour long show on Sunday nights called "RadioLab". I fell in love with the show from the very first episode. It's sort of similar to This American Life, if you are familiar with that show. I have my own problems with Public Radio in general, but there are some gems among their lineup if you sift through the chaff.

Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich host the show, which consists of several short segments circling around a (more or less) central theme. I've found it very enjoyable and interesting to listen to, even on the occassions when I might not agree with some of the content. My problem was that the show starts at 7pm our time. I get off work (normally) at 7, and I'm usually home by 7:30. Then I'm into the house to fix dinner, play with the dog, and smooch with Mrs. Paladin (not necessarily in that order). I'd miss the last half of the show unless I had to work late.

I'm pleased to find that the show episodes are available online at their website: Radiolab. I highly recommend it.
