And everyone has to get face-time. Humanity never changes, does it?

If movie cameras weren't so bulky back then, you'd probably be watching someone say "I say Reg- hold my ale..."

No shortage of "hams" among the pier walkers.

The company who made these films would visit a locale and shoot cityscapes and everyday people going about their business. The then they would show the movies in a local auditorium complete with musical score. People would line up to see themselves captured by the wonder of motion pictures. Most had never seen anything like it before.

I'd love to take one of those old loco's and steampunk it up as a regular ride ;)

Sorry I haven't been around much. Just being a witch ;) Hope you had a great holiday!

Had a great one! I've been less than prolific in the blog world myself lately. Just been too dang busy with real life :) Good to see you around.
